Topics We Do Not Accept

To keep Travelbeck.com focused and editorially credible, we do not accept content on the following:

  • Hotel, resort, or accommodation reviews (not within our editorial scope)
  • Pure destination tourism guides with no connection to flights, airlines, airports, or travel logistics
  • Restaurant or food travel content without a travel logistics angle
  • Content that promotes a specific brand, booking platform, or service without genuine editorial value
  • Content that has been previously published elsewhere, including on personal blogs, Medium, or other platforms
  • Thin content or articles under 1,000 words that do not meet our depth standard
  • Keyword-stuffed or AI-assisted writing (see our No-AI Policy below)

Contributor Guidelines

Word Count Minimum accepted word count is 1,000 words. Our preferred range is 1,500 to 2,500 words, as this allows for the level of depth and specificity our readers expect. Longer articles are accepted when the topic genuinely warrants the length. We do not pad content to hit a word count target and neither should you.

Structure and Formatting Your submission should use a clear H2/H3 heading structure that makes the article easy to scan. Write in short paragraphs of three to five sentences maximum. Use bullet points or numbered lists where they genuinely improve clarity, not simply to break up text. A strong introduction that clearly states what the reader will learn, a well-organized body with clear subheadings, and a concise conclusion are all expected.

Tone and Audience Write for a general English-speaking travel audience. Your tone should be confident, knowledgeable, and clear — not academic, not excessively casual, and not salesy. Assume your reader is an intelligent adult who knows the basics of travel but wants specific, actionable information on the topic you are writing about. Avoid condescending explanations of things any traveler would already know.

Originality and No-AI Policy Every submission to Travelbeck.com must be entirely original and entirely human-written. We have a strict zero-tolerance policy for AI-generated content, including articles that have been AI-drafted and then lightly edited by a human. We screen all submissions using AI detection tools including Originality.ai, GPTZero, and Copyleaks. Submissions that trigger these tools will be rejected, and contributors who submit AI-generated content will be permanently removed from our contributor list without further discussion.

Your article must not have been published anywhere else previously, including your own website or personal blog, any content marketplace, or any other publishing platform. We accept only exclusive first-publication rights.

Accuracy and Sourcing All factual claims in your submission must be accurate and verifiable. When you cite specific figures, statistics, fees, or policy terms, you must include a direct link to the official source (airline website, government portal, airport authority page, etc.) in your draft. Do not cite Wikipedia, personal blogs, or other travel websites as sources. Stick to primary sources. Unverifiable claims will be flagged during editorial review and must be removed or sourced before publication.

Link Policy Guest contributors are permitted one link in the author bio at the end of the article. This may link to your personal website, professional portfolio, or published work elsewhere. No links may appear within the body of the article. We do not allow links to booking platforms, affiliate programs, commercial products, or competing travel websites anywhere in submitted content. Articles submitted with body links will have those links removed before publication, and repeat violations will result in the contributor being removed from our list.

How to Submit Your Guest Post

Follow these steps to submit your pitch or draft to Travelbeck.com:

  1. Write your pitch or complete draft. We accept both fully written articles and short pitch summaries (two to three paragraphs describing the article, its angle, and why it suits Travelbeck.com’s audience).
  2. Email your submission to pulsenewswire@gmail.com.
  3. Use the following subject line format: Guest Post Submission — [Your Proposed Article Title]
  4. Include the following in your email:
    • Your full name
    • A brief two-to-three sentence author bio (written in third person)
    • Your website URL or portfolio link (if applicable)
    • Your full article draft as plain text in the email body, or as an attached Google Doc shared with view access
    • A statement confirming that the content is 100% original, human-written, and has not been published elsewhere
    • Links to the primary sources you used in your research
  5. Review timeline: We aim to respond to all submissions within five to seven business days. If you have not heard from us after seven business days, you may follow up once via email.

Our Editorial Review Process

Once we receive your submission, here is what happens:

  1. Initial screen — We confirm that your submission meets our basic requirements: correct topic, minimum word count, human-written, and not previously published.
  2. AI detection scan — We run the article through our AI detection tools. Submissions that fail this screen are rejected immediately.
  3. Editorial review — A member of our editorial team reads the article for accuracy, clarity, structure, and reader value. This typically takes three to five business days.
  4. Acceptance or rejection notification — We email you with a decision. If accepted, we may include editorial notes or revision requests.
  5. Revisions (if applicable) — You have seven days to address any requested revisions and resubmit.
  6. Publication — Once the article is finalized, we schedule it for publication on Travelbeck.com. We will notify you of the publication URL once the article goes live.

We do not pay contributors for guest posts at this time. Compensation is the byline, the audience reach, and the editorial feedback.
